2010 TAX RETURNS

Individuals earning more than R60 000 per annum must be registered for income tax.
If you earn less than R120 000 you will not be required to submit a tax return unless you have qualifying expenses.

The due date for the 2010 tax returns is as follows:
30 September 2010
Postal and SARS drop box returns for individuals and trusts
26 November 2010
Electronic submission of non- provisional taxpayers
31 January 2011
Electronic submission of provisional taxpayers and trusts

All company tax returns must be submitted within 12 months after the financial year end.
